Burst Radiators Damage Wood County Museum

The Wood County Museum suffered water damage after eight radiators burst.


According to a press release significant water exposure in exhibit spaces and collection spaces resulted in damage to some artifacts, ceilings, and floors. The damage occurred on December 27, when temperatures were subzero for most of Northwest Ohio.

Some of the exhibits will require reprinting of text panels and updated fabrication of exhibit rooms. The museum is seeking assistance through donations and memberships. Click here for more information.
