The most popular question we receive for both Towpath Radio and River Rat Country is, "What number are you on?" This refers to our spot on the FM dial. What makes Towpath Radio and River Rat Country different is the freedom we have without being on the FM dial. We don't have to deal with the FCC or the extreme costs of building and powering an FM or AM tower. If we pull the winning Power Ball numbers then we might make that move but until then you can find us with any internet connection, whether it's your phone's data, Wi-Fi, or a PC plugged straight into the wall.

The amazing thing about today's technology is internet radio is just as, if not more, accessible than FM or AM. Think about it, how many of us walk around with a portable radio compared to a phone capable of pulling in any station in the world?

We recently made some changes with both Towpath Radio and River Rat Country, so we thought we'd give you an official rundown of how to listen.

Here's how to listen to Towpath Radio:

• Direct: TowpathRadio.com

• Alexa: Enable the Towpath Radio skill on Amazon Alexa by saying, "Alexa, enable Grand Rapids' Oldies." Once it's enabled just say, "Alexa, play Grand Rapids Oldies" anytime you want to hear us.

• Google Home or any Google/Android device: Just say, "Okay Google, talk to Towpath Radio."

• Official App: The official Towpath Radio app is available free for Apple, Android, or Amazon. This is the best way to listen on your phone or tablet. It also gives you access to River Rat Country and Sweet 419. You can download them in your devices app store.

• Other Apps: If the Towpath Radio app isn't your style there are a number of great apps we recommend that are free. Online Radio Box, MyTuner Radio, Get Me Radio, and Live 365 apps are all great options. They also work great for listening in the car and translate well to your "infotainment" dashboard.

• Official App: The official app for River Rat Country is available free through Apple, Android, or Amazon. This app gives you direct access to all three of the Towpath Media, LLC family of stations.

• Other Apps: As with Towpath Radio, River Rat Country is available free through Online Radio Box, MyTuner Radio, Get Me Radio, and Live 365 apps.
