Kerr House in Grand Rapids Up For Sale

On Friday, the owners of the Grand Kerr House located on Beaver Street in Grand Rapids announced the mansion will be going up for sale.

The Facebook post reads, "We love The Grand Kerr House! She has been a good home, a great business and a wonderful way to meet new people and make many friends along the way. For several reasons we have decided to move onto our next adventure in life (so much to do, so little time!) and are listing The Grand Kerr House for sale. Thanks to so many who have made living here such a joy for us! We know whoever lands here will love her as much as we do."

The Kerr House has been a staple in Grand Rapids and has hosted numerous guests as a bed and breakfast.

In December of 2022 owners Bob and Cathy Trame announced the Kerr House would no longer be used as a bed and breakfast and have since hosted multiple tea events.

The mansion, which dates back to 1880, is listed at HowardHanna.com for $649,900. It has 7 bedroom, 3 full baths, and 1 partial bath (according to HowardHanna.com). The home is 7,265 square feet, has 12 foot ceilings, natural wood, pocket doors, 4 hand carved fireplaces, and original stained glass windows.
